Crimestoppers – Fearless in Brent
It is estimated that around 4,000 teenagers in London alone are being exploited through child criminal exploitation or ‘county lines’. Crimestoppers, in collaboration with the DSM Foundation, approached Focus to produce some creative social media assets to support their county lines campaign on Facebook and Instagram.
How we helped
The aim of the Crimestoppers Fearless county lines campaign was to raise awareness and educate about county lines and substance misuse in the London Borough of Brent. The aim of the campaign was to get people to speak up and report any information they have about crime or criminality via the Fearless.org website.
The assets had to resonate with multiple target audiences such as those who are affected by county lines, for example, vulnerable young people, and also those who may witness the signs of county lines, such as teachers and family members.
What was achieved
The Focus design team created social media assets for three personas; Callum, Aimee and Jack, each of which had a different story highlighting warning signs which could flag that a young person is being affected by county lines.
What the client had to say
“I’m really happy with all the creative work Focus did on this campaign and would highly recommend them to colleagues and partners.” Alexa Loukas, Region Manager – London, Crimestoppers
