G’s Fresh and G’s Growers Websites
How we helped
Having worked with the G’s Group for a number of years, it was time to rebuild the websites for their G’s Fresh and G’s Growers brands.
The G’s Group’s previous websites were built in 2012, and website design and development has changed significantly since then. G’s business has changed too, so this was a fantastic opportunity to bring the two websites up to date to meet the needs of the company.
The new websites needed to reflect G’s as a multi-national business, and to provide reassurance to customers, suppliers and stakeholders, whilst also showcasing G’s as an employer of choice.
What was achieved
Our in-house User Experience team worked alongside the team at G’s to agree the structure and functionality of the new websites in a collaborative discovery session.
From this, a full functionality document and wireframes were created and our website designer could get to work bringing the pages to life. It was decided that the G’s Growers website would be a simplified version of the G’s Fresh website, and it was important that the design and functionality of the site made the user’s journey a seamless one.
Our website development team then built the two bespoke WordPress websites which our SEO team optimised. The websites include a mega menu, which remains static as users scroll and navigate to pages with ease, as well as call to actions to signpost users to relevant pages in the sites.
The careers section of the G’s Fresh website was developed to meet the objective of showcasing G’s as an employer of choice and provide users with all the relevant information they may need for a role at G’s. As both websites have international users, Google Translate was implemented to allow the sites to be viewed in different languages.
What the client had to say…
“Focus designed our G’s website back in 2012 and over the years, they have proved to be a reliable and responsive partner as we have adapted and developed the site.
When it came to completely redesigning our website in 2021, they approached the project creatively, with enthusiasm and ensured the project was efficiently delivered on time and within budget.”
