Kelly Sephton wanted to take her business in another direction and turned to Focus to create new branding and a website that truly reflects her story and the very important messages she wants to share.
How we helped
Kelly’s aim was to create a platform to share her story and for ladies to find information and advice on nutrition, training and endometriosis and we jumped at the chance to help.
After meeting with Kelly we understood her vision and could really connect with her passion to help other people (and her love for unicorns and all things sparkly).
We wanted to help Kelly bring her brand to life by producing new brand guidelines incorporating a new logo, typography, icons and colour palette, plus a shiny new website and social media assets to support her new adventure.
What was achieved
Our creative team felt really inspired after meeting Kelly and produced a logo and strapline which used a new subtle colour palette, as well as social media assets including some super cute icons to use as Instagram Highlights, and it’s safe to say Kelly was in love.
We then got to work on Kelly’s new website. It was important for Kelly’s website to truly reflect her message and new brand, and become a platform for her to share her personal journey with endometriosis to support other ladies. We worked with Kelly to produce a beautiful new website which provides users with the information they need to have a balanced lifestyle of nutritious food and exercise, helping to create an overall positive mindset.
Kelly wanted to include Kelly’s Kitchen, a place for her to share healthy and tasty recipes, a blog for users to find out information and support to help them on their journey, a shop where users can purchase Kelly’s e-books, and a newsletter sign up. We also incorporated an account area so users could save their favourite recipes, blogs and products as well as keeping track of their orders.
To achieve these goals our UXQB Certified User Experience Manager planned out the main user journeys, site map and page templates to ensure the website is easy to navigate ensuring users can find exactly what they want within a few quick steps. Our User Experience Manager worked closely with the design team and web developers throughout the project to ensure user experience was at the core of the site. Our SEO team also optimised the website for SERPS to ensure the site had good organic visibility.
We feel that Kelly’s new website really supports her goals, and her new branding reflects her personality. We’re super proud of this project and Kelly is really happy too!
